Materials & Build Quality
Arctos rifle plates are crafted from premium materials to balance protection, weight, and durability. Ceramic options deliver armor piercing stopping power and polyethylene composites provide buoyant, ultra‐light solutions for maritime and extended patrol operations.
Armor plates include different combinations of materials such as: alumina, boron or silicon-carbide ceramics, Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) such as: Spectra fiber, goldflex, or aramids like kevlar.
Plates may also include a backing layer of energy absorbing material like D30.
